QUICK RELEASE COUPLINGS

For fast and easy connections of hydraulic hoses, the Alfagomma range of fluid components includes the Argus series of quick disconnect couplings, with products complying to international standards ISO 7241-1 A & B, ISO 5675 and ISO 16028, having poppet and flat face valve respectively. The standardised design assures the complete interchangeability with corresponding couplings currently in use. Made from high strength carbon steel as the basic material, hardened in parts subject to wear, ARGUS couplings feature a chrome-III zinc plating with a long lasting resistance to oxidation (TOP COAT, patented). The mechanical and fluid dynamic performance are maximised by means of specific geometries defined through CFD calculations. Additional extensive testing is carried out after production following the requirements of ISO 7241-2 standard.
